Templates, Templates Every Where
I used a variety of Scrapping with Liz’s templates for these pages. You will find details and links with each page description.
Sun Tours – Left
The first page of a double page spread using separate templates talks about our decision to take a tour of Dubai during our 8-hour layover. I used Scrapping with Liz – My Travel Journal – Template 3. I love the way you can tuck things into the envelope on the page. The kit is MagsGraphics – Mountain Retreat. The colors work really well even if the theme is totally different for the pages being scrapped. The fonts are La Carmella and Skipper.
Sun Tours – Right
This second page of the two-page spread focuses mainly on different pictures. Scrapping with Liz – Just Photos is a great set for making a photo-focused page. I used template 19. Since this was a two-page spread I again used MagsGraphics – Mountain Retreat to scrap the page. There are no fonts on this page.
Don’t Lose Ticket
A fun look at keeping track of our long-term parking ticket. I used Scrapping with Liz – My Travel Journal 2 – Template 7 to complete this layout. Since it was a car-centered layout I used MagsGraphics – Look Who’s Driving. The fonts are La Carmella and Agency FB.
On the Palm in Dubai, even the tunnel is interesting. It is also the focus of this page. One of the things I like about Scrapping with Liz’s double page templates is they also come with a set of each side individually so you really get your money’s worth. I used Scrapping with Liz – Bold Double 2. I used the right side of template 8. I really liked the look of the Ginger Bread Ladies – Tropical Paradise for this page. The fonts are Josefin Slab and Buttersky Serif.
Tour Wrap Up
After all was said and done I still had a few pictures from out Sun Tour that didn’t seem to fit anywhere else so I included them on this wrap-up page. I used a template 22 – left side from Scrapping with Liz – My Life Templates Bundle. I used Ginger Bread Ladies – Spice of Life to complete the page. The fonts are Georgia, La Carmella, and Wizzta.
