It has been a busy week and as I sat down to work on this week’s post I realized how few pictures I actually took. I am back to a full school year schedule at work. Hannah and I both helped out at the Camp Fire Haunted House Open House meeting Saturday and I was so busy working I forgot to take any photos.
The first photo this week was taken Wednesday. As I was driving to work I got a message from my car that it needed service immediately. I am so thankful that I got this message just before I reached Bartow Ford. I was able to cross the 3 lanes of traffic safely and got into the dealership without incident. Since it was part of the old transmission recall we were able to secure a rental so by that afternoon I was once again on the road.
On Thursday Joshua let me cut his hair that has been growing out all summer. As I was cutting it I was surprised to find this one since tight red curl on the back of his neck. He looks so different now that his hair is back to being short. I’ll have to try to snap a picture of that this week.
Caleb let us know this week that he passed and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. He has explained that is now a line promotion so it might be a few months before he gets the pay increase and is able to sew the strip onto his uniform. But we are all very proud of his hard work.
I am still an active member of the parents support group through Wing Mom’s on Facebook from the time out our sons’ basic training flights. We keep each other informed on where are boys are stationed and what they are up too. I took screen shots of their reactions. I cropped one of them so that no personal information is shared.
Look they can get along. One of the rare times that Charcoal and Toni are sharing the same space and not growling, spitting, or bopping each other. Wish they were this peaceful all the time.
Did you see a puddy cat? I think I see a puddy cat. I was surprised to see Toni sound asleep next to the bird cages and the birds seeming to ignore her. You never know what trouble this little kitty will get into next.
Like I said at the beginning it was a busy week of ordinary life. I might capture all those daily moments but these are moments when most of life is led.
