F is For Face
This week I have several images of faces. These are the faces of my children and date back to 2002. It is amazing how much they have changed over the years. At the time these photos were taken Hannah was 1, Joshua was 5, Caleb was 7, Hayden was 12, and Jacob was 19 (I had almost forgotten what he looked like without a beard). These are just random shots taken throughout that year.
Our face can convey what we are thinking and feeling but for those who have a good “poker face” we might be able to keep our emotions to ones self. Different cultures also but a different spin or a different level of importance to what our face is expressing.
The older is a person is often times means that they are less likely to let their feelings just jump out on their face. And of course there is always those faces children can make to give a wealth of feeling like the rolling eyes.
And maybe you have given your children that look that conveys so much about what you think of their behavior at a given moment so that they know it is time to straighten up.
Brain Games on the National Geographic Channel has a show in season 3 – episode 2 – Laws of Attraction that in part talked about how we perceives faces and what attracts us to other.
